Dwayne Johnson can't take solace even with the positive reviews critics are giving Black Adam, most of which have pointed out its many flaws, yet still enjoying seeing some diamonds in the cinematic roughness.

Meanwhile, moviegoers love the visual spectacle and action in the film, with an 88 score from "verified" Rotten Tomatoes users and 90% from all viewers. Dwayne Johnson is getting high marks for his performance.

With a 7.3 user rating and 40 Metacritic score as of Monday morning, the film is seeing similar ratings on Amazon's IMDb.

The hype surrounding the film will impact how critics and audiences view it, for better or worse, and there is none other than Dwayne Johnson for it.
