Review – 1
What struck a cord with me is the character of Kamala Sharma, played by Nivedita Bhattacharya.
There’s so much we take for granted, as privileged urban women. This movie is a heart touching story of the ever-persistent tussle between the new and the old, the silently screaming urge to break away. The dilemma of a woman conditioned to unconditionally care for and support the male dominance; shackled all her life in perpetual fear of a reprimand, seeking permission to just be, despite never being at fault. Looking longingly at those who have a life she never can. The contrast stark, the switch unimaginable.
And then forced to live it vicariously through her child, all over again, accepting it all as the norm and perhaps fate.
It’s storytelling like this that truly catches the pulse of so much that really lives in the heart of reality but in the blindspot of the urban masses. I wish there’s more of this cinema (thankfully the change has begun) and less of larger than life, insensitive, misinformed trash that only perpetuates a distorted version of bravado.
Real strength and bravery is what Kamala shows in her own gentle, maternal way. I hope more have the epiphany to look forward and ditch societal bonds to truly live their lives. Because when you do, my friend, there is a world waiting to embrace you for who you are, if you only let them.

Nice movie it is…. a must watch. It Is the 2nd movie of kirti kulhari after Pink I am watching. The story, plot, everything is good. I didn’t even feel bored except while listening the music of the movie. Nice piece of acting delivered by each and every character, direction Is so good too.
Stop wasting ur valuable time in watching movies like Sadak, Radhe etc. Watch these kind of movies, they have a message towards society.
4/5 I am giving, 1 less for music. I didn’t feel connected to music that much.

A simple story told in a most subtle way. It’s Raw, unapologetic but sensitive.
It never tries to be one dimensional and feeding us what’s right or wrong.
Kirti kuhlhari has always been a strong performer and she is magnificent here.
Must watch -Even the 80 year old Chacha at the dhaba had acted naturally.

Not sure why times of india is giving two star to this movie. I love this movie..I love acting of all people. Good message to society. Specially which i follow a lot.. “bhad mein jaye samaj”.
Just one thing…not sure why drinking smoking is promoting like it is needed for new generation. It should be choice and modern generation can live without drink, smoke and drugs.
Rest all message is good.

No suspension, no plot twist. A simple, straightforward soothing movie. Loved the background music. If you don’t want to break your head and think then it’s A MUST WATCH.
